Welcome to Justin's head-space in the cloud!

This is not just a blog anymore -- everyone has one of those.  I'm aiming for something different; something bigger and hopefully more interesting.

Rather than just write about an idea or voice an opinion, I want to explore it.  I want to use this new platform to not just manage my online presence, but to share, collaborate, and discuss new ideas.

Rather than have a static place in the cloud that serves one function, I want a sandbox where I can play with new software, experiment with ideas, and test new concepts.

I am a healthcare information technology professional and a student.  In fact, I think I will always be a student first and foremost.  I can't think of anything more exciting than a life of continual learning and exploration.  The next big thing is always around the corner.

I call Asheville, North Carolina my home and share it with my life-partner Joe.  It is here with Joe and the beautiful landscape we share together that I find love, inspiration, fulfillment, and growth.

I sometimes will say to friends, family, or visitors that Asheville likes to think it is bigger than it actually is.  But to tell the truth, I think Asheville has a lot of potential.  In fact, I can see Asheville as a center for emerging culture.  Part of that culture, in my opinion, is the advancement and proliferation of new and exciting technologies.
